About FairUp

FairUp was born out of frustration with outdated career fairs. Lack of digitization and inadequate fair tools not only lead to inefficiencies, but also to a lack of accessibility – especially in the linguistic area. Manual processes throughout the entire booking process additionally complicate the work for organizers.

Our vision: We offer operators of career fairs an innovative platform that unites all aspects of a successful fair. FairUp catapults career fairs into the digital age, makes them more efficient and creates career-promoting experiences.

Our story

Career fairs worldwide are among the most important channels for recruiting. Alone in Germany, up to 3,000 such fairs take place annually. Nevertheless, these events are often alarmingly analog: Printed job walls, print catalogs and PDF order forms are standard and prevent the full potential from being exploited. This is exactly where our startup FairUp comes in.

The team originally started in personnel placement, but after a year full of fair visits, recognized that there is a glaring lack of digitization. Especially international skilled workers face great hurdles: Material is almost exclusively available in German, which clearly disadvantages them.

The FairUp team therefore develops a software solution that brings career fairs into the digital age. Fair organizers can organize and market their events more efficiently, while exhibitors can not only plan and book precisely, but also use the entire candidate pool of the fair before, during and after the event. At the same time, the platform offers talents barrier-free access to information in various languages, the possibility to book appointments, and personalized job recommendations through a digital recruiter.
